Live music in 2021….Where do we go from here?

The music industry is one of the main sectors effected by the events of the last 12 months. Therefore, the Manchester Business & IP Centre arranged a live panel discussion with their friends at Leeds Business & IP Centre. This was part of the BIPC’s National Networks Reset. Restart programme, to support businesses that have been impacted by the pandemic. Reset.Restart includes a variety of workshops, it’s essential to work towards supporting those in the music and creative industries.

Discussing how the music industry can survive in these difficult times panel members David Gedge, DJ NikNak, Mix-Stress, Jay Taylor and Lola Mitchell, hosted by Martyn Walsh engaged in a full and frank discussion on the future of the UK’s live music scene in 2021 and beyond. Attendees were able to ask panellists via the Q&A function about their opinions and advice in response to pandemic. As this is one of the huge topics lately it was even featured in the Manchester Evening News.

Don’t worry if you missed it, you can watch the conversation here:
