Next week from June 29th to July 8th is Manchester Beer Week. Last year, the number of UK breweries rose above 2,000 for the first time since the Thirties, with Manchester seeing a resurgence in the start-up of new craft breweries. In fact there are now more than 2,000 breweries operating across the UK, a 64% rise since 2012. The microbrewery industry is booming in Greater Manchester.
